Due to the sensitive nature of their contracts, they have remained a well-kept secret within the UK MSP industry.
However, they are about to step into the spotlight and leverage their extensive expertise to expand into the private sector with a focus on addressing mid-market needs for data backup, disaster recovery, cyber security, and cloud computing, with a particular emphasis on data sovereignty.
To achieve this goal, they've asked us to help them find a talented Presales Consultant to help them shape their service offerings for the market.

The ideal candidate for this role would have a background in Technical Presales, Technical Product Management or Solution Architecture and possess the expertise to collaborate with technical teams to transform bespoke solutions into standardised, repeatable products and services while also playing a pivotal role in the sales process.

What we're looking for
This is a pivotal role where you'll be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that play a crucial part in our client's success. You'll need a proven history of expertise in traditional hardware platforms, across multiple disciplines (Server, Storage, Networking, and virtualisation) using technologies such as: VMWare, Veeam, Rubiks, Cisco, Checkpoint, Microsoft Azure, Nutanix, Meraki and HPE Aruba.
Key responsibilities will include:
Conducting In-Depth Analysis: Lead thorough analysis sessions with potential clients to understand their IT infrastructure, challenges, and objectives.
Technical Solution Design: Work closely with the sales team to identify client needs, offering technical solutions that align with their requirements.
Security Requirements Compliance: Ensure a comprehensive understanding of security protocols for cloud, datacentre, and edge computing environments, advising on best practices.
Demonstration and Presentation: Craft and present detailed demonstrations to clients, showcasing the benefits and capabilities of proposed solutions.
Technical Guidance and Support: Provide continuous technical advice to clients, supporting them through the sales process and project lifecycle.
Project Management: Oversee projects from start to finish, guaranteeing they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Other Requirements
- Car owner with clean UK driving license.
- Must be cleared to work in the UK and have been a UK resident for 5+ years.
- Security vetting and Police questionnaire to be completed as a condition of employment.
