🎯 Love the challenge of making interfaces intuitive, beautiful, and blazingly fast?
Our client is growing – and we’re on the lookout for a Front End Developer who thrives on crafting sleek, accessible and high-performing interfaces using vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and modern CSS. You’ll join a small, collaborative team that cares deeply about doing things right – from semantic markup to slick, user-friendly experiences that just work.
👨💻 What you’ll be doing
You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining scalable web applications that meet both client and user expectations. That means translating technical and business requirements into clean, maintainable code, and getting hands-on with everything from layout structure to dynamic interactions. Whether it’s refining an existing component or investigating an edge-case bug, you’ll take ownership of your code and strive for pixel-perfect execution.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Turning requirements into intuitive user experiences
- Writing well-structured HTML, accessible to all
- Creating responsive, flexible layouts
- Handling interactivity with clean, asynchronous JavaScript
- Diagnosing and fixing bugs with confidence
🧰 What you’ll bring to the team
To hit the ground running, you’ll need around three years of commercial front-end experience and a passion for quality. You’ll have strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—and you won’t be afraid to dive into dev tools to fine-tune performance or chase down tricky issues.
You’ll know how to build experiences that work for all users, and you’re happy collaborating with others—whether that’s sharing code, bouncing around ideas, or working through problems with clients.
Must-haves:
- 3+ years’ commercial experience
- Strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills
- Confidence with async/await, event handling, and debugging
- Solid grasp of accessibility and semantic design
- Visa/Sponsor free ability to work in the UK and would pass an advanced security check
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with Astro or other static site generators
- Familiarity with PHP or basic Linux admin
- Design sensibility and understanding of user flows
