This role is built for a Microsoft 365 expert who wants more than just ticket resolution.
If you’re a certified Microsoft 365 professional who loves staying ahead with the latest accreditations, thrives on troubleshooting, and wants the chance to influence how an MSP delivers its services, this role puts you at the heart of it all.
What you’ll do
You’ll be the lead Microsoft 365 specialist for a growing, North American MSP, working fully remotely from the UK. You’ll lead advanced 365 delivery, mentor the team, and carve out a career path with genuine growth potential — while still staying hands-on with the technology you love.
- Take ownership of all things Microsoft 365, from administration and troubleshooting to complex escalations.
- Be the in-house Microsoft 365 portal authority — knowing it inside out, from configuration to optimisation, and making the most of every feature.
- Resolve every type of 365 support ticket, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Drive improvements across Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and the wider Microsoft 365 ecosystem — including strengthening configuration, compliance, and security best practices.
- Build documentation, processes, and best practices that make the team more effective.
- Mentor and train the team, helping them handle day-to-day 365 issues while you lead on the tougher challenges.
- Collaborate with partner MSPs, providing advanced Microsoft 365 support where it’s missing in-house.
- Travel to the US periodically to work with the wider team in person.
What we’re looking for
You’ll be a Microsoft 365 expert who thrives on staying sharp, certified, and hands-on.
Essential:
- Multiple Microsoft 365 certifications such as MS-102 (or the legacy MS-100 and MS-101), MS-700: Teams Administrator, and SC-300: Security Administrator (or equivalent).
- A track record of tackling M365 challenges end-to-end, from low-level tickets through to complex issues.
- Proven experience across the Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID).
- Pragmatic, sleeves-rolled-up approach — no job is too small if it keeps things running.
- Clear communication skills to explain technical issues to colleagues and clients.
- Maturity to thrive in a fully remote role, managing priorities independently.
Bonus:
- Exposure to Azure services, scripting, or automation (e.g. PowerShell, Graph).
- Experience building governance frameworks or standardising processes across teams.
The business
This is a mid-sized MSP with a strong team culture and a growing client base. They’re investing in Microsoft 365 expertise as a cornerstone of their service, and you’ll be at the centre of it. With the chance to build a dedicated 365 team over time, this role offers both influence and long-term career growth.
What’s on offer
- Fully remote, UK-based role.
- Core hours: 10am–6pm, with flexibility to step in outside if needed.
- Salary up to £85k.
- Career progression: genuine opportunity to build and lead a Microsoft 365 team.
- Regular opportunities to travel to the US and connect with the wider group.
